We are finally here. One need only look around and examine the Skyclock and its cycles to realize that major change-points are in motion. One of which is the cyclical ascension of human consciousness. This is quite evident for those who are not sleep-walking. This is a time for big happenings, and big ideas. The following, while lacking in scope due to necessity, is an immense idea… in fact, much more than an idea. But, unfortunately not very well known in our time. I am referring to the 600-year Naros cycle, which is a Luni-Solar cycle, and the most perfect of all Skyclock cycles.

Let me begin by stating that I am not, nor have I been, initiated into any group or society. Having said this it should be clear to the reader that the information offered here is based on my solo research. And as such the information here is not nearly as in-depth, or complete as it would be coming from one who has been instructed, or initiated by a teacher well-versed in ancient spiritual traditions. At best what I am offering here is the knowledge that such a cycle exists, and that it is important. There are very few sources where you can look up information on the Naros cycle. The best source I have found is a chapter in The Light of Egypt Vol. I & II.

The Naros is a 600-year Luni-Solar cycle, or Sibylline year. It is made up of 31 periods of 19 years with one being 11 years. It is said to be the most ancient of cycles, and the most perfect of astronomical cycles. In an effort to illustrate this last statement, consider the following: If a new Moon took place in any part of the Heavens on the 1st of March, exactly 600 years later it would take place again. But that is not all; it would take place at the same second, under exactly the same physical circumstances, and the Sun, Stars, and Moon would all be in the same relative positions. As declared by Prof. Cassini: “The most perfect of all periods”.

It is said that the Naros cycle commences and terminates with a Luni-Solar conjunction. This is typically thought of as a New Moon in our time, but this is speculation on my part. The Naros cycle is unconditionally stated to be the “absolute measurement of human mental development”. As further speculation I suspect a new Moon at, or near, the Spring Equinox would be a good starting and ending point for consideration. Also, having stated that the Naros cycle is made up of 31 periods of 19 years, with one being 11 years, I further speculate the possible relationships that follow.

A lunar Metonic cycle is said to be 19 years, and we currently count a solar cycle at 11 years. Is it possible that the Naros cycle, said to harmonize the cycle of Sun and Moon, could be counted using 30 Metonic cycles of 19 years, while finishing with 1 standard 11-year solar cycle? This is food for thought that lacks authority, being a speculation on my part.

We are told that esoteric initiates are taught the Mystery of Naronia which is about the contraction and expansion of the human constitution. As an illustration, the ebb and flow of the ocean’s tides are used. When the Sun and Moon occupy the same plane in reference to Earth, high Spring tides occur. Using this real-world example, we are told that it is the same for the constitution and consciousness of the human brain. This illustration is what led me to consider the Spring Equinox as a possible starting and ending point for counting the 600-year Naros cycle.

I suspect very few individuals are aware of what I have covered so far, or the next bit of cyclical information, and how it can be applied to each of us personally. What is offered in the next 2 paragraphs is very brief, but it should be enough to spur interest and further investigation, for those beginning to recognize the importance of the Skyclock energies and cycles. After all, how is it that we know the movement of the Sun will bring the heat of summer, and freeze of winter in a single annual cycle – and yet fail to recognize all of the other energies and cycles of the Skyclock at play around us constantly?

During the Skyclock cycles each year the Sun returns to the precise zodiacal sign and degree it occupied when you were born. This specific point is said to renew the life energies of the soul and regalvanize them with additional spiritual forces. These are the Deific attributes of the great solar orb which provides the germ of new forces at this time. The forces are described as, Virtues, Powers, and Potencies. If consciously cherished and nourished these possibilities will evolve powers in the Human soul. If these possibilities are unnoticed or uncared for, they will pass down the cycle until other forces polarize them.

In the same way, when the Moon arrives at the same place, mentioned above, each month she empowers seeds with magnetic life. This is said to be the foundation and basis for spiritual development mostly unknown (occulted) by those who have had no qualified teacher, or spiritual development.

Many things are becoming known that not long ago were veiled (occulted) from our awareness. This will continue and expand as we head away from the low vibrational era we have always known. And in this we find our chance to forge and create a better world than the one we are leaving behind. I hope the topic of this post was new to you. I hope you find value and look into the Naros cycle more fully. May the tone and tenor of our actions be based in compassion and love, as we head into, and ascend the new era. Truly, there is much to re-learn in this world.
